Protocol Development Pathway

The Protocol Development Pathway outlines the process to develop a new offset protocol and complete technical expert review. Protocols that complete expert review may be approved for use through the Offset Network.

Project Plan Template

The Project Plan Template is to be completed by the project developer in the early stages as they coordinate and prepare for the project. The completed Project Plan will help determine the project's eligibility for inclusion in the Offset Network.

Project Description Document (PDD) Template

The PDD Template is to be completed by the project developer once the offset project is fully developed and ready for validation. The PDD builds upon the Project Plan.

Project Monitoring Report Template

The Monitoring Report Template is to be completed by project developers using emissions reductions data from the project. This is the document you will submit when requesting peer-verification of offsets from your project.

Urban Forestry Guidance

The urban forestry guidance include urban forestry protocol comparison, high-level guide to starting an urban forestry project and link to i-Tree Planting Calculator to estimate carbon emission reduction by tree planting.

Attestation of Non-Double Counting

To be signed by the Project Operator to verify that all credits generated are accounted for properly.
